Hey, these are two sketches I've selected from my sketchbook to share. These were semi- inspired by El Coro but not *too* far from my usual style.
Last time i posted I got a lukewarm response at best so it's taken me a while to post anything since.

I think i've also forgotten exactly how to post images...

This second one is also a self portrait without reference

i liem them alot, espescialy the face on the first guy, adn the way you made his coat so bright by using so little detail

what kind of pen do you use? all of mine suck and i dont wanna spend like $100 on various pens to test them out

Thanks for the response Usagi,
I'm just starting out finding good pens myself and actually these were the first things I drew using my new pens.
I originally bought three Sakura Pigma Micron Pens.
I got these at my local art shop for around Aus$4.00.
I started with line widths of .005 (for super fine lines), .01 for detail and sketching the basic forms, and a .08 for outlines, shadows etc.
I found that I still needed a much thicker pen for solid black areas and I found a fabric pen lying around that I bought at a textile shop and used that with fairly decent results.
