Traditional medium is used for concepts?

Because of a shoddy CPU I am forced to go traditional. So, which medium is best suited for concept design.

I hear inks with the aid of a pencil is, but is it the inks from pens or the bottled ink, if bottle then how do I colour with it? Any tips will be great.

Also is Gouache and watercolours used too? Thanks.

whatever you feel comfortable with, I'd say. as to coloring with inks: if you work with inks, I recomend trying different brands to see which are the most waterproof (some claim it but fail in practice) and then you can watercolor on top.

I have 8 small bottles of Winsor and Newton INK, but havent a clue how to apply them.

As for any medium, I will experiment.

when doing traditonal works I try to keep to the medium which feels most komfortable
so I use ball pens, pencils, ink and acrylic (sometimes)

or a mixture of pencil and ball pen
or a mixture of copics and ball pen

it just depends on how I feel

Pen is a good exercise to keep you from over rendering because you can't erase it, so it's good to use the pen in that sense, it's a very direct approach and unforgiving but good to get ideas out quick. A pencil is good for shading, can be done with a pen too but not as easy. The main point is whatever one you feel most comfortable with is best.
