Wow! This is awesome! I love all the neat textures. Can you show us a detail shot? I am curious how you paint textures. Every time I try it just ends up looking busy. Was this Photoshop or Painter?

I feel a bit genetically ripped off looking at the talent and skills it takes to make a piece of this calibur. Awesome work.

wow man
This is an amazing peice. I usually list all the parts I like, but they are too numerous mention.
One of the highlights for me, besides all the awesome scales, is the background. It totally brings the whole pic together.
I do have one critique though. It kinda bugs me that he is floating in space. It would be cool to see a ground plane or drop shadow. Maybe have his foot pad squished up on the ground to indicate his weight.
"save picture as", put in my joel folder.
you da man.

Nice one - I REALLY like the idea of painting a character all the way then putting clothes on. Probably a good way to maintain proper proportion/anatomy.
Cool dragon, I like his jaw :p

Wow! Really love the wing structure. All the nice (functional) details makes them look very real and believable. That goes with the rest of the anatomy too. Crazy amount of details but still nice too look at. Colors work very well too.

Yes, amazing, amazing. Great painting.
One comment...hope you don't mind...but it seems odd he doesnt seem to have thumbs...I guess that's why there are no fastenings on his jacket/robe :)...
Rare to see an intelligent race without tool using hands tho.....I'd consider altering the paws....

Dang, nice work! I must say I've never seen a tail like THAT before...
One thing I would suggest is to make the tattoos move even more with the ripples of his skin. Right now it looks a bit like the tattoo is flat and laying on top of him on a flat layer. Other than that, great job!!!!!!
