I tried out some of that Sparth and other french robot style´s, what you think? :)

hey not too shabby, i think perhaps if you added a little more clarity in some places and had a few well placed hard egdes it would add more to the style you are going for.

I would disagree with them however. The background is way to detailed for the rest of the piece, and it doesnt fit with the quality of the image. The character, while better then the background, needs to be a little less messy. If you were trying to emulate sparth, its close, but needs work. Sparth is all about shapes, and blocks of color, no smudging needed. Keep practicing :)
