Snow Grub

[Boss Hippo]

Here is my next super sculpey project entitled the snowgrub.

Not much to look at yet, it's just a basic wire frame for the maquette. The basic shape is there.

I fleshed him out with tinfoil.

I fattened him up with some more tinfoil deposits before adding more sculpey. It saves on the cost of using Super Sculpey which is about 14 bucks a pound in Ottawa.

This shot showcases a very preliminary face and body shape. This is pretty roughed out, but it gives you an idea of what I am going for.

Here is a new shot with detail added to each character. The grub's eyes were prebaked before I set them into the sculpture.
