View Full Version : Starting my first digital painting

I'm starting my first painting in Painter. I'm not very used to the program yet, and I'm having difficulty getting control over my brush strokes. Not quite used to painting on the computer.
I haven't worked on much yet except the cloak. All suggestions and tips about color and even composition are welcomed. :D

well off to a good start, you should really think about investing in a wacom tablet, stylus tablet, or pablo pad. it will save you a lot of time and heart ache of drawing with the soap on a rope. keep going it look fine so far.

i've actually changed quite a lot.. still working on it.. i'll post the new one soon :D this one doesn't give much away..
