yeah, i gotta admit, i kinda like your approach. Only crits i can think to give is that ... something around his nose doesn't look quite right to me.

great work, only thing i see is that the left nostril is to big, and maybe( and this might just be me) make the shoulder more solid sense it is closer to viewer.

thanks for all the great comments guys greatly appreciated, Jade dragon and Chosun u guys have some sick work man... To answer your question Brain I just do what feels right for the piece. I am experimenting alot with textures and shapes and when it feels right I just go with it.

I like it but I think the cool colors of his face just don't match the semi warm tone of the rest of the pic, it's odd.
