Trying to achieve a rugged, not-digital-at-all look. Way to go.

If you told me the first wasn't digital I would definately believe! Haven't used painter much - only once the trial version.. and couldn't make anything look paintlike - found it pretty hard to understand and had no time at all to explore.

The second I could imagine as a wall size painting in acrylic(sponged) and pastel. I love the bottom half!! But the top background seems destracting(teehee or my dumb screen I have to scroll to see it all ) That background is what makes it seems less nice and painty for me :)

you make me want to play in painter more - love that bottom half of painting 2 :)
