More Strider sketches

Here are a couple more Strider sketches, feedback is good:) I have a nonrelated storyboard I am working on also, hopefully I'll get that tightend up by this weekend, and get some good feed back on it. Anyway, nitpick away, and thanks in advance:p

ahhhh strider--one of my favorites-- i remember when i got it on sega genesis--i felt like the luckiest boy in the whole world!!! that was last wed.

i think the sketches are ok---the designs dont erally improve too much on his original look. i liek the second sketch--but again their a little bland --strider is a recognizavble character
these sketches dont really feel like strider you know? they feel like some other futuristic ninja guys. the first guy looks like hes wearing khakis.

i dont mean to completely bag on your designs but i can see you have the drawing skills--but it doesnt seem liek you pushed yourself enough and tried different approaches and avenues on how to solve this character


i like the shawl, i like the sword, 2nd guys boots got promise, lets see some color too. keep going and good luck!!!---ty

Tyboogie, thanks for the good crit, yeah right on points, I've did some female strider drawings, and I guess that kinda thing is to far away from the purpose of the contest. Though what's wrong with Khakis, lol.

I only played the Nintendo version, and only found out recently there was a kicken Arcade version.

nothjing wrong with khakis!! and nothing strikes fear into the hearts of evil men like a ninja from the GAP!! hahah

i like the sound of teh female strider---that sounds very cool
i see nothing wrong with changing the sex--be free!!!
