hey man good start. on bit of advice though. For night shots, use a tripod, so you can meter and not worry about shaking. the buildings would have turned out nicer i think if you had a tripod. d70 is a nice camera, good buy.

Yea, i didnt have time to buy a tripod but im really loving this camera, very sharp shots, and thanks for the advice.

im not sure if you used manual or automatic mode but you could try switch to manual and change settings yourself f-stop and shutter speed. found this to be very helpful when taking pictures during night since when you use automatic they tend to get very blurry:)
