First of all, your images are about four times the size they need to be to be seen on a regular mortal screen. Make them smaller so people can actually see whats going on.

Dude.... usually making the longest dimension 600 pixels max is adequate size. And the edit button is next to the quote button on the bottom right of your post.

I think the first pictures, while being very wierd and making you wonder what the hells going on, have too many elements in them. However I still like the second one with the lines, because of the graphical effect it has. Try focusing on one subject in each shot, and portray it in a nice composition. Composition is the next thing to really think about, it's really really important.
I dont think a basement is the ideal place for photography, unless you've got lightning equipment and stuff. Anyhow... think about this and post some more pics!
