Hello my fellow artists, here is my first post. This is a concept character I made, never really thought of a name for it. If you monitor contrast is high I'd advise for you to lower it or the color might look a bit flat. It was done with photoshop, original size is 18x24 inches. I have another piece I'm currently working, not sure when i'll be finished being busy with work and all, but any how I hope you guys like my work and please tell me your comments or crits I'd love to hear you from you guys.

I really like the actual design of the first chick. Her boots are my favorite and the outfit has some great graphic lines and cuts.
You need to work on the anatomy. It's looks like you're just making up muscles--especially in the abs (this says nothing about the crazy proportions, because I'm going to assume those are stylized on purpose). Her right breast is also a lot smaller than the left.
Can I asked why you worked at 18x24? It doesn't have the amount of detail (except maybe in the tats) that you'd put in at that size. Her skin tone is all streaky, instead of having the nice blended effect an enormous size would help with.

Well, the reason why I worked on 18x24 is because i was planning to add more detail, but ended up not adding as much as I planned. For most of my work, I dont use reference, I just sort of make up things as I go on. The tats aren't the only small details I added, I worked alot on her hair, her eyes, around the belt, I even have my signature somewhere in the drawing8), theres alot more but you can't really tell on the size I posted up. As for coloring, I did that on purposes, tried to give it more of a painted look, not sure if I pulled it off right though:P .

I like the concept of your first one. Reminds me of Psylocke

The second one reminds me of Leeloo in "The Fifth Elelment", good stuff otherwise, try to add more texture to your drawings, or different light sources
