... nothing more than a humble thank you to this fourm/community as a whole for helping me uncover a familair, albeit estranged, talent and love that's been inside of me since i was a kid.

It's been years since i've picked up a pencil or cracked open a fresh sketch book and felt that surge of thought and creativity. The rush of excited thought and inspiration.

i've only recently come across this forum and the truly brilliant and awe inspiring art work that is found throughout, which most of the time leaves me speechless. But at the same time it's urged me to start drawing again. To be creative and do what i've always loved.

In the week's time that i've been pouring through the posts and artwork here, i've signed up for a local art class (squeezing it into a 40-hour work week), bought a tablet and have been sketching everyday to kick the cob webs loose.

After some catching-up, i hope to post some of my work. Not to in any way keep pace with the artists here (no way i ever could), but to hopefully gain something from your input and guidance.

Thank you for reminding me of what i really love.

Well at least you're quite a few steps forward pogy, I don't even know where to start from drawing again, it's been too long. It seem they've hooked me too, damn, and I swore that I wouldn't be committed for another 2-3 years. Oh well, can't blame me for trying, feels good to find a community which eats, lives and breathes the same thing I fell in love with as a child (sorry pogy, I took your lines, but it's the same for me so...).

it's pretty amazing that everytime i come here and look through another sketchbook, i find more and more work that is just incredible. And inspiring.
