They're also porting the original to PSP, which is fantastic because I could never find the PSone version.

hey chris, looks good, what was the gamelay like for the first one?, didnt get a release over here, at least I didnt spot it, anway this year looks like a killer for games already , last year was kinda shit I think

this game looks like such good candy, I loved the 2d sidescroling in the first game and the fighting/combo system was really fun.

yeah, hopefull this will come out in the state and be pretty sweet. I liked the original, but they definetly need to steer things in a different directions with the art style. There something fundamentaly wrong with having Odin clean shaven......

Oh noes, I love the original art style. Odin-with-no-beard is just a character design issue, and not really a problem with the style.

So this one is about Lenneth's lil sister, and probably Brahms too. And I bet, there'll be lots of appearances by that cool bitch, Hrist.

Sammy - I checked out that link you posted. I was so overwhelmed at what I saw it took me a while to even respond to it, seriously. I saw a video in there that showed some of the game towards the end of the trailer. FREAKING Incredible!!!!!! I can't wait to play this GAME!! I feel more excited about this than Final Fantasy 12.

easytiger - If thats true it's coming to the states, I will buy three copies immidiatly: one I can play and abuse, one I can play after I ruin the first one by scratching the cds from over playing, and one to never open.

Shinryu - The game play in the first one, was 2d side scrolling with 3d elements that really brought out a good feel for the game. The a combat system was badass, each character was assigned a button on the PS1 controller. One press and the character attacks. After getting good enough weapons, your characters can attack with combos that you control. You can stop a combo at anytime, and have other characters attack to set up enemies for you to finish combos with the first characters used. As you do this, you can sometimes build up a power meter to the max for your magician to blast foes with grand Final Fantasy-like spells, but Valkyrie style! And the last secret boss, is the ultimate battle. Oh, not to mention the music, very nicely done. Btw, how are you liking Shadow of colossus?! Thats another top ten.

oracrest - I liked the art style. Yeah, Odin was a bit too clean looking but the over all style of the characters and the look I thought was great, and looked a bit different from most other games because of their artists...I forgot their names though.

Aerythes - Yeah I hope they show a bit more of Brahm's story. Can't wait to learn more about Lenneth's sister. Hrist better show up, I want to see where they take her character.
