Hello, CA!

I wanted to tell you that my newly redesigned website is now up!

The added feature this time around is an online store, and as soon as I have the items ready, they'll be up for sale. I will have original artwork, prints, sketchbooks, and I will also take on illustration comissions, so check back to see what's new!

Dan, thanks for taking the time to check out my site!

I've seen your paintings many times while surfing the net – It's beautiful work! Only, I never knew who the artist was. That is, until I visited your site just now and there you were. :) So now I have a name to tack onto the images.

To answer your question, yes, I designed the Dragons that are on my site, beginning with Series 3. And I did some of the paint application concepts for Series 2, so I'm guessing you have either the Fire or Water Clan sitting on your computer. :teeth:

The design center is not very large in relationship to the amount of product that is released every year, you'd be surprised. They don't necessarily have a "team" of designers either. It's a very different setup there, and I'm not sure if I can get into it.

But what the guys up in sculpting do with my designs is simply amazing. With one of my designs for a Dragon in an upcoming line, they went all-out on the detail. My concept drawing just looks like a little napkin sketch when put side-by-side. :x
