i used the lasso tool to try and get an abstract impression of the shapes on my face

Its clay face! Seems like there shoud be a highlight on the side of the nose (unshaded side ofcourse)

agreed your nose looks alittle funky, hair could use a few hlights too

Good job on the lasso tool, very hard to use just that and get what you did..takes time and patience. Pretty well done and something interesting to try! I dont know, but for shapes of your face with a lasso tool, you did it !!! :)
