So, this is my first post and I mostly have no idea what I am doing. I served my pics at Yahoo and I am gonna use the insert picture button to insert them. I hope this works.
I mostly got on this site because I need help. I saw all the helpful critiques that many others have recieved on thier work. So I am willing to take any advice anyone can offer and will post the out come.
Thanks for all your help!
P.S> If anyone can help me out with some sites with reference matereals that would be apreciated too.

Well, welcome to CA!
A popular hosting site is Imageshack (www.imageshack.us). The upload times are a little slow, but they have a ton of bandwith.
CA has it's own reference section here (http://69.16.210.25/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=30). It's quite handy.
For crits, upload less pictures with folds in them. It's really hard to zone on anything to critique when there's a glaring shadow being cast from a fold. From what I can see, you need to try to finish more work - a lot of your stuff has big gaps of white. Just have a little patience and you'll have some good results. Also, try not to pet in your lines so much. Try to draw with your whole arm, not just splotchy jerking movements with your wrist. Sweeping long lines are the way to go, but hard to get used to. Just keep at it.
Post more!

Welcome to CA casale! Your pictures won't show up in my browser, but I can give some advice on the other things. Imageshack is a good choice for a hosting site, and so is Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/). The CA wiki also has some good referance sites, and I find it a little more organized. You can find the link in the top bar next to "User CP". Keep posting!

Cool, I fixed the pictures! Used Photobucket. now just to add more pages.
Just a question to anyone who might come by; I realize that i should be drawing from life but when I am at my computer at work it seems that that is not an option. Is it acceptable to be drawing from photos when at work or should I be work on other things that the head while I am at work like drawing my hand or the telephone? Just a question, thanks for your reply

all of the sketches except for the one of the face on the right are from pictures in a glamour magazine. the one on the right is from my head. you can see where the eye is way to close to the nose. You can see though that I am trying to explore the way that light creates the shapes of the lips with shading. I don't know I think I am going in the right direction with these but am not sure. It seems that its always easier to draw from a picture than from real life.

These are mostly abysmal failures. I am not sure how to first capture the pose and then how to add detail. Maybe I should have drawn them bigger.

This is an archway at the school where I work. First building I have drawn in a long time. I really should have gone for a more dramatic angle but I thought what the heck I will give it a try. I am proud of the way that I let the thickness of the line on the right represent the shadows. At that point I stoped drawing the lines and started drawing the shadows. I think that’s good/ :/

Following your advice this is what I came up with. I tried to be patient with the hair but man was that hard. If this doesn’t look done enough to you Ryn please let me know so I can figure out how to finish it.
Yyou were right, I got some good results. I am mostly happy with this but looking at it and the reference makes me see many mistakes I made. Well, I learned a lot and that’s what really counts.

What's up man, good to see you posting on the forums. Good to see you drawing and playing less roms and stuff. Hmm...critique-wise you might want to consider the general shapes of the form and then add detail to those instead of trying to draw a likeness right off the bat. Lay down the foundation and all that jazz. I know you downloaded all the loomis books so that's another tool that can help you. Good luck and cya around campus...

Thanks for the crit Shiney, I will give that a try and post the results. Yeah its funny I have always drawn looking at the relations and proportion of the shapes but to get a likeness but I have never really tried to explore the form. its seems when I do it my way something is inevitable out of proportion. I will also go back to the Loomis stuff.
