I recently came across a manual SLR, which is great because I've had an interest in photography for a while now, and it lets me have more control over the image.

Anyway, these came off the first 2 rolls of film.
Sorry about the lines running through some of the photos, my scanner is horrible.

I love how sharp your images are, my favorite is the one with the brthday girl, the muted color on her shirt and dark background set a very unique mood. Good work keep it up

The last one is fantastic. All the vertical lines make for an interesting piece.

Its nice to see some people still kickin it old school with film. All of us digital people don't have to wait to see the results and probably hit delete all to often. These shots have an almost media oriented feel to them, like shots you'd see in a magazine. They don't strike me as being personal, but not much of my stuff is ethier. I don't see any problem with taking a picture simply for the enjoyment of taking a picture. Art shouldn't always have a complex meaning behind it.
