I'am putting together a portfolio piece for a photography school in miami and the topic is urban, fashion photography. Before you stop reading (hey give a kid a chance!), here's the theme/concept :
It's going to be around five to six shots of an extremely exaggerated/borderline vulgar scene of a rich greased up dirty Italian at the beach. Iam going to try to give a visual here,
we're covering ( I mean caking haha) the model with canned tanning spray, greasing up his skin with baby oil and having him wear those huge black Dior glasses with maybe a chunky chain (some Italian mafia flare) to accentuate that hairy chest.
They're mostly tight shots.
I'am going for that clean/sharp magazine cover look, rich color so any suggestions would help:
digital slr vs non digital slr
film speed/brand suggestions
(the higher the speed the more the grain no)
anything that could be useful.
thanks
justine
