really nice job.
abstract, but still a sense of realism to it.

personally, i think the black is a little harsh.
the piece would benefit more from a subtle colored BG.

Organic, that's a good title for this. It reminds me of those nerve system images.
The detail and coloring are really good. The background is too empty, it makes the whole thing looks like an illustration in an biology book. It also takes away the depth and three dimentional feeling of the drawing.
