i think i should create a comic. would any of you enjoy web humor such as this? i would not do just web humor, i would also do current events, and random thoughts.

It is pretty tough to make a call on the information given, since there is no story to back up the art. I like the style and all, but you have to put some text in there to help it along. I think it is very important to provide good content, since looking good with keep them there for a while, but substance will keep them coming back for more consistantly.

Please keep us up to date on this.

hi I like the idea though the text "don´t go to´www.something..." doesn´t seem integrated with the comicstrip. I think it would be better if you put the text on the computerscreen in the strip instead.

the story behind the comic is:
this guy has a laptop. he takes it everywhere. but his laptop is an evil laptop. it has WIN2K ON IT!!! the laptop doesnt like him, so it does bad stuff to him whenever he goes to stupid sites, or feels like crashing, because it is WIN2K!

does that sound like fun?

I have a Volkswagon that doesn't like me. It knows I swear it does when I NEED it to start... or the brakes to work properly.. or the clutch not to stick to the floor....
anything it knows...
it can get in a good mood if I clean it...
but then there might be a storm and it's a grump again

we have a good relationship
noone can believe how well it runs for what it is and what we can make it do(it runs new games better than most new comps for a 5 year old celeron chip with 256 ram)
I tell my flatmate - and he hates me when I do.. that me and my comp share a loving electromagnetic bond :)
We have a friend who can use my comp for a half an hour and stuff it completely and reset every option we set - she has bad eletromagntism

The idea is pretty cool, i think.
You could imclude a voting or subscription-function on your page, so everyone could vote for websites the guy with the laptop is going to visit next.

Death is ubiquitous...but coming up with computer-death gags may eventually get difficult... here are some ideas:


Guy is typing on keyboard.. he is actually on a larger keyboard and is squished by a giant finger :)

Dude(me) is waiting for a download.. he eventually dies of old age

Laptop gets so hot it burns through the floor and hits someones head

Person sees an add for a firewall.. decides to build his own and burns to death

guy loads a java applet to have scalding hot coffe thrown at him.


Thoes are just some ideas... it would be interesting to see you execute one (or a similar version)

now, it would be cool to get some ideas other than just websites (laptop meltdown, person runs into a firewall, "blue screen of death", dying of old age from a download). then, it would be more funny, and a bit more random. i will have another one up for tonight.

I've never had any probs with Win2K seriously. I only saw the blue screen once and that was when i removed the HD while working (oops! wrong cable! Thats not the cd player!)

As for XP i think an XP bluescreen is an urban legend (crossed fingers)
