I was gonna use this one for the Detail Challenge, but it looked more like an advertisement so i thought id leave it to the hopper pic.

hey! :)
your pictures have improved quite a bit since your last post
NR 1 and 2
look like an advertisement photo, they are really great
NR 4 is also a nice picture
these photos inspire me :)

NR 7
this photo got room for improvement,
is it a portrait? the whole content seems a Little chaotic
the car and the garbage draw the attention away from the person in
the picture.

keep up the good work =)

i like the idea in nr 3, but the tree shadow on left stealing my eyes from center, where most important thing is

Hey Barret! Thanks, coming from you that's a big deal! Your point is taken also, I know the background is distracting, the question is how do i balance the chaotic background with the person posing?
@Dassem: Thanks, i really didnt notice that at first.. ( i really should have )

:D
i would try to do something with the light in the picture
you could have tried using flash, (if you are shooting with an SLR)
then you could have underexposed the background and flash the person
in the picture so that he got well exposed

:7up: :)
