Great contributions from everyone!

I voted for dkijc, I like the shot because its abstract and can be interpreted in so many ways, and it is very detailed.

My second choice would be ShadeOfDawns, this shot has a double aspect in the meaning "detail". It's a shot of something detailed, but the person is also doing something very detailed, has attention to detail.

thanks for the vote mate!

I'm so sorry but i had to go for claude for this one.

I just loved the contrast between man made and "God's workmanship" =)
Lovin how colorful the grasshopper and the rocks are, compared to also-still-detailed grey concrete +) nice job!

g'luck everyone!

No need to worry, the voting should be only about the pictures, not about who made them.

To make this more clear it could be a good idea to have image titles in the poll, so that you're voting for the image instead of the person behind it. This would take the focus away from who made it, and move it to the picture. This is in my opinion the way it should be. Just a suggestion.

that would be difficult since the pictures title shod be the same as the topic =)

I dont think the picture title should be the same as the contest. For example my picture title was: Attention to Detail.

its related but its not titled detail. I'd be more than fine with having both the photographer and picture names. And thanks for the compliment Morbid!

My vote goes to morbid, since i love how he used depth of field to highlight the twelfth fret. A detail that a guitar player can appreciate!

And again, i have an instrument fetish! ;)

Thanks, yes I guess only a guitar player can appreciate the true beauty of my picture. ;)
