is this game worth the buy? Im hankerin for something new; I've never played the series before. Im a big fan of Harvest Moon, and i hear it's something like that.

I like the animal crossing games. Their kind of like a simplified The Sims game, except you can leave your house and walk around the town. Fishing is my favorite part of the game.

Definitely a great buy if you love just running around your town, messing with things and people, doing random crap and improving your living situation. Not so much if your favorite part of HM was the more serious farming aspects. You CAN grow trees to make money, but it's hardly pressured. I'll get my friend code on here...if I ever play again. :o
