I just 'finished' this and something doesn't feel right. Could be the wispyness of it. Your C&C's would be much appreciated.

I personally like this a lot. It ROX. Something is definitely throwing me off. it might have something to do with the legs, or that area, maybe it was a bit rushed? i really can't point my finger on it though XP. It's all a matter of preference. Anway, keep up the awesomeness!

Well, I think his head is way too big for this body, and I really don't get how his hands got to be so lighten up, brighter than his shoulders which are closer to the sourse of light. His eyebrows are not lined up, the left from my side is lower. Looks like you painted his head separately. Overall he looks deep in his thoughts, totally not there.

His head is too big. Fix that and I think it will look fantabulous. :)

i agree, head makes him look like a dwarf.. also, that hand gesture on the cane isnt working too well.. i'd suggest you change it to something easier, especially if you got that far with ref, cuz you're most likely not gonna get it looking any better in that position..

i agree w/comments aout the head size, and his right eye looks displaced too far away from the nose. there's a definite awkwardness to the hand on the cane, it looks a bit deformed, not sure what the gesture is supposed to indicate. maybe just gripping the cane head would be less troublesome?

also, the in-view shoulder looks odd, sloping down way too drastically, or, if the coat seam is an indicator, there's too much highlight on the upper part of the upper arm, but in that case the shoulders aren't broad enough. kind of ambiguous.

Thanks everybody! I'll work on your suggestions and post the result a bit later.

Yeah, the left (his right) shoulder should extend a bit farther out before it drops. And the legs look a little bit short/skinny/off somehow.

Overall, though, it looks really sweet. I like it.

Ok, I've done some updates/fixes.

I reduced the head size a bit. 'Relaxed' the hand that's on the cane. Moved the right eye closer to the nose. Increased the broadness of the both shoulders, darkened the lighting on the hands, and increased the scale of the legs.

Overall, I think everything you guys suggested was spot on. Thank you.

If you happen to see anything else that's troublesome, please tell me, as far as I know I have until this evening before it's due. :)
