Sorry about the size on the last one. I'm still figuring out the optimal format for everything. Here is the drawing again.
Does anyone know why these pics look huge to me but small to everyone else?

nice clean, cartoony, but what's with his hands? Why are they blackish?

I guess they're black because his hair darkens as it approaches the extremities. But I guess its not reading as well as I'd hoped. :(
Thanks for the comments, though. :)

i think this is good.. i think some of your lines are a little shakey but, you can work on that... for the specific coloring style your looking for you should check out Salaryman. He has a very simple style of coloring but very effective.

I drew this a while back and I finally got around to modeling her as well.
Hope you like.

I see what you were trying to do, but it looks like there is a random shadow on the hands. It looks a little like that on a couple of other parts, but it's most noticeable on the hands.

hmm in the drawing, her hairline seems kind of high up on her head, which makes her look like she has a big forehead. but its not on the 3D model so thats good

Oh man that 3Dmodel is dope dude, make that hat sort of curved, that would make alot more sexier I think...but that's just me, awesome job man :D

I really like him. He's got a good design and an excellent pose.

very nice, clean work.
i'm especially digging the pose; has a lot of power and personality.

Yeah, the pose kicks ass but the shadows really dont work because they dont wrap around the form at all. Maybe if you did it by hand it might read better.

I agree about the pose, it works real well, the only thing that really bothers me is for some reason his hair on his back seems too long and gives him a feminine feel and the corset is helping, I think maybe you should add some armor in other places to give it a more complete feeling. Mainly because it feels like he's only wearing shin guards or a helmet and it makes it feel unbalanced.

I think the hat on the 3d model would look much better if you made it at more of an angle to her back, instead of exactly parralel to it.

Hey thank you all for your comments.
Its nice to get some perspective on a piece that I'm probably to close to.
My plan for this design is an eventual model as that is where I am more talented.
Thank you all again for your crits and accolades.

Is the top 3d? if it is or isnt its still great. My only crits are to work a little on the face.... its like a young old man? I dunno it seems like his bone structure and wrinkles dont seem to match with the gray hair... i dunno im not as good with these things but it seems odd. and the eyes too seem odd.
also get that guy in an environment, it doesnt look good with the white.
good luck

Babes, bulls, and old men. Never has there been a better combination of media. Oh, also the sketches are good.
