The painting looks like it's coming along nicely, you have some issues with the drawing though. here is a quick crit:

There is infinite ways to make it better, and here is just my quick scratches with a mouse to show how I would do it:)
The torso seems kinda small, but more important is that it looks odd pointed at us square, do it three quarters, and it is starting to look more natural, and have more volume. Draw through what is happening with the tail, and estabish a bottom torso, It is important that there be something she is to sit on. check the size of the hands, they sould be the same, and for the arm, one can usually grab the shoulder with their hand and that is a good gauge to see if you arms are working, the left shoulder could be pulled back. And the face seems to have the features drawn at us from a straight on view, recede one side.
She looks fun, kinda reminds me of Reese Witherspoon.
