savage guy: from the forest, to the model society. he wants to prevent the pollution and the overlumbering. he is indeed a innocent guy in his deep heart. but one day he is called orc when people who wants to cut down the trees to make a great deal of money saw him in the forest.
so finally he try to fight for his Pure Land.
just a rough idea and bad drawing skill.
so needed your help

I do beleive he has two left feet.
His right hand fingers are a bit far apart.
Slow down and get the form and silouette
right, then begin the internal art-stuffs.
maybe start off with some head sketches
and keep going... accesorize,
tattoo's, braids, knick nacks, doo-dads.
these things are what distinguish you from
the others, and add to your "Style"
BUT!
that's just my opinion!

try drawing him without the log. to gett a feel for the character you are designing.

Im just going to crit the second one since
Maxx already crit the first one.
so, the second one.
not a bad concept, not at all.
but you have to work on your perspective
and anatomy skills.
because of the feet he looks like hes floating.
to fix this you just have to draw them facing
the viewer.
if that makes sense.
here's a tip.
his weight point should be about a straight line
down from his neck.(when using this sort of
stance)
you cant always use this technique, obviously. but
on this occasion you can. just draw the heel where
the red line is. (as illustrated on the pic). this will
create balance on your character

feng is a madman on character drawings. so
take a look on his site, if you havent already.

so, practice, practice, practice and post your
progress here.
