I may have signed up for this forum for the wrong reasons, and if I have I apologize. I myself am not an artist, I have the artistic ability of a 5 year old, maybe less. What I am looking for is some help or atleast a nudge in the right direction.

I wish to get some more ink done, and the next design I want is something involving a wolve, in a seated position howling at the moon, possibly in a tribal theme. The only problem is, I hate walking into a tattoo shop and just picking something off the wall or from a book. Most of my work is original, and I am a huge fan of freelance art. I would appreciate any help any of you may be willing to give me in this matter. The area I am located sucks for having artists design stuff for people, and traveling is out of the question right now.

One suggestion would be to post this in the "Unpaid Jobs" forum located on this site. This is a definite twist from the usual jobs posted there, and you might just find a few people interested in helping you out.

Also, and this I would HIGHLY recommend, is to go wherever you get your tattoos done (I don't know if you go to the same guy every time or just walk into the nearest shop, I personally go to the same place every time because I trust the guys there) and speak with the artist that is going to be tattooing you about having them design something personally for you. That is their job, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind the change of pace from the standard flash on the walls. It might cost a little more because it's custom, but this is something that will be with you for the rest of your life so I'm sure it would be worth it.

Good luck!

Thank you for your feedback, I will have to do that. As for artists, I am afraid I do not go to the same artist everytime. My job requires that I move around alot, making it hard.
