Digital GessoTexture Brush

This is gonna sound kinda wierd, not sit down and prepare weird, just maybe abit odd.

I've been having dreams about brushes and textures for the past week. I don't really know why. So, tonight I sat down and made a custom brush or six. The gesso-texture look is done with just one brush, never changed a setting or size. (The pencil look is actual pencil, sorry, haven't perfected that brush yet.) Something I did with this brush that have never done before is make the brush angle change depending on which way you pull or push it.

They still need some refinement, I'd like more texture, but they do the job.

Pixels from start to finish.

Trying to perfect the new digital brush. I wasn't concentrating on the subject (Fireman from MegaMan.) I was working on the paint around him and the gesso background; trying to make it look like cheap acrylic paint. The brush is still too clean. But, I am getting there.
