Hm.. This is definitely confusing and mixing elements of "Realism" and "style", which actually begin to throw off the whole piece. I think the color could be played with a little more (perhaps some reflected light on the skin from the background? something to make it pop out a little more). Right now it looks very flat and confusing, and the elements that are less important are standing out.

cool. yeah I am just starting to play with color more. as far as confusing...well that is left to the viewer...some say it is...while others say it is not...I personally do not think it is confusing at all...but that is me. thanks for the input.
