nice to see you post again:)

but i would like to critique a bit on the lighting a bit. its a bit off in some areas like the cloak and the right side of the face.
if the light is coming from the right back, then the highlights on the cloak would be on the sillouette of the cloak and lesser and fainter on the front.
the highlight on the nose ridge should be on the our right and a bit more shiny. the ear also needs some highlight as well as the hair.

overall, try not smack white everywhere, things like subtle glints on appropriate areas will do.ie, nose bulb, ridge.

seems to me like the eyes are a bit off - try to move the left eye up more or them closer in a bit. i dunno look at a similar pose and see what its like - just looks a bit off but could be the only problem. other than that really fine job with the mouse only - must of taken a while. congrats :P, although if your going to go digital wacom should be better if your gonna spend all this time thats why im kinda waiting for one and doing traditional art more!

the red eye is kinda distracting to me. make the eye brows thicker cuz right now they look just a bit to girlish.:D

the background especially the dark part should have more reds since there is quite a lot of reds in the face.

the change is great..though the flares leading from the eyes n the knuckles could be bigger. another thing would be the left eyeball. its too defined, in comparison to the rest of the face. you could try to give the area around the eye n part of the nose more definition with shadows, wrinkles, etc. just my 2cents..

i liked the original alot more than the evolved version. the red eye and blue lights coming from his hand are a bit too terminator-like...good start though...let's see this one finished.
