pretty sweet. i like your colouring job especially. pretty cool. only thing though, back then plastic surgery didnt exist (so the breasts should be more natural not double the size, unless shes naturally like that! O_O!) imho! cool stuff tho

Looks pretty good. I am learning to color in PS right now as well, and it's tougher than I thought. Anyway, the sword looks to be at an odd angle, but that's all I saw.

hey grey--nice drawing. i especially like the hair piece/tail and the way that was executed. i think the design of teh armor could be pushed further--it seems too general/simplified. maybe some engravings or historically accurate symbols/designs on armor. also white BG hurts
keep it up dude!--ty

thanks for the comments, this is the group I sweat the most when posting something new; endregan - yeah that color pallete's working for me, and since it's a personal piece I'm not gonna defend the breasts, I just wanted to draw them that way :)
irate - the sword bugs me the more I look at it, not sure if it's color or angle that makes it look off (or both)
tyboogie - thanks for the crit man, that's a good tip on the armor detailing I'll keep it in mind next time; I know I should avoid white backgrounds but since it's a character illo I thought it would slide

looking good!
only suggestion would be to make the foot to the left of the page go more away from the user, aka the heal being more shown than anything.

Yeah grey, the sword blade isn't in line with the hilt. The very point is off putting the rest of the blade off. Other than that nice work ;) and great colour scheme.

Mhm, suppose, Iīm not the only one here thinking about classical greek amazons here ;)

I like the colour-scheme very much. Besides the problems with the feet and the sword I personally think the Extremities are a little bit to small for the head and the torso but maybe thatīs just me.
Otherwise a fine piece of work!

Yeah, I'd be happy with this coloring, too. At first I thought the strokes were from the painting, but I see they're from the pencil drawing. Don't be afraid to push your shadows and highlights, and lighting in general.
Some crits on the figure: the arms look a bit too thin, and I think the lower body is torqued a bit too much. What's messing me up is that the left bum cheek seems bigger than the right. Part of that illusion is the strips over her thighs, but in general, that area looks twisted towards the viewer too much. The feet could use a little more work as well.

for the life of me I can't see that arm thing, they feel like the right size to me; but that FOOT :bash: don't know how I didn't catch that because it's painfully obvious now
but that's what crits are for, thanks all for the feedback

can't take credit for the avatar, it's Shepard Fairey's work; originally "Andre the Giant has a Posse" mass-produced silksreened vinyl stickers, started at RISD around 1990, but beyond that meager info you should go the source:
