Which would be better to use? For like coloring sketches, of Sci Fi like scenes..

Illustrator is all vector based, wich means you are basically limited to work in flat shapes. Photoshop is pixel based, thus alot more flexible. PS, along with Corel Painter, is sthe standard in the digital art market today. yes - the only real advantage to vector graphics is that you can blow them up to any size without losing any quality. there are other qualities, too, im sure, but thats the big one for me. i think it all matters on what youre trying to get done.
