Hey Guys? I am sure most of us dream to get in one day, but how many have tried to get in this year, and How many made it? there hasn't been much bragging about lately...
I sent some of my stuff, but it was way to late for the deadline, so I don't think it was even looked at. now that I think back I don't think it would have helped much if it got there in time...:D
Anyway who's in? I have a list of "usual suspects" in my head....

Hi usagi,
Basically Spectrum is an art showcase for the art industry, and it comes out evry year.
there are several categorys you can apply to (book covers, sculptures, unpublished ecc..) and it costs to get in, but anyone can send their stuff and if it is judged (the panel is made up by proffessional artists) worthy it will be published. Most of the big boys here have had something published there, and all we juniors can do is hope to become good enough one day to get in!
The books are really cool, and there is tons of inspiration, the only problem is that they are rather hard to get if you don't buy from budplant or amazon. But if you stumble across one get it by all means.
Still no one send anything this year? I know of one person who made it :nana show yourself! Brag about it!
but someone else must have gotten trough... I hope...

Know what you mean, with time and concept, I hit a wall when working and don't seam to progress anymore, but working long that's the bedst part! For me it is getting back to the image, work on the details, see knew stuff, try another colour, and so on is so much funnier than comming up with ideas and shoot them out.
God is in details.
Not sure, that is how I missed this one.
But If remember right it was the 20th of jannuary, the call for entries was sent out in october... Bet Foster, or someone else will let us know in good time.
