like this (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/078685393X/qid=1136646714/sr=8-4/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i4_xgl14/103-0373952-3041422?n=507846&s=books&v=glance)?
You should be more specific. Some people have art books, and somehave whole collections.
You probably can't/won't buy 50 books at once.
So how about writing a little list (of films) and what exactly you are interested in the individual films. Like this:
Lion king: charcter development illustrations/sketches, storyboards, background paintings, rough animation panels.
Whatever... I don't know what you want.
Would be easier than if someone drops some random amazon links (like I did above). Then people could recommend something from their collection if it fits one of your descriptions. More information from your side gives better results from the community.
Normally you can get books at a bookstore either some special art/design/film stores or some generic big stores that got one or two books that sell. But my money would be on the little speciality stores.

Hey Mario sorry I didnt know that there are so many different books for each movie I always thaught that there only was one book for each film.
And I also forgot to add that I live in germany and that I already went throu the few stores in my city and no one was able to help me so I guess the internet is the only place for me to find something.
So here s my list:
Disney:
Pocahontas: Charcter development and background paintings
The Hunchback of Notre Dame: Charcter development and background paintings
Hercules: Charcter development and background paintings
Tarzan: Charcter development and background paintings and everything else
Atlantis: The Lost Empire: Charcter development and background
Treasure Planet: Charcter development and background paintings and everything else
Brother Bear: Charcter development and background paintings
Dreamworks:
Road to El Dorado: Charcter development and background paintings and everything else
Sinbad Legend of the seven seas: Charcter development and background paintings and everything else
Filmax(spanish):
El Cid the legend: Charcter development and background paintings and everything else
I guess thats it it s mostly the same I m interested in the bg s and the charcter designs.
If theres anything else you could recommend let me know I d love to get as much as I possibly can if there are dvds or anything with staff interviews or something like that that would be great too

I got a few disney and pixar artbooks myself and they're really nice. Amazon got it all tough. Don't narrow your search down that much. Just type ' disney' in books and you should get there...
this 'll get you started : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0786864036/ref=pd_sim_b_2/102-2729157-5982550?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=283155
and look below under : ' customers who bought this book also bought ... '
Hope this helps

EBay is also a good source for disney art books. I got several of the "art of" books from there for pretty good prices.
