hay i am new to these forums (my first post here)
and i am quite overwhelmed with the talent that i have seen here.
i am quite femiliar with photoshop for web design and print design, i am quite good at freehand drawing of figures and i am learning how to do robotic things.
however i have no idea what the best way to go about colouring in photoshop would be.
i need help with how to set up my sketches for the easiest colouring, and also some good PS techniques for colouring in drawings.
the way that i would probably go about it now, (although i have not tried it properly yet) would be to ink the drawing reasonably precisely, scan it, put it into channles, adjust the levels and get the lines only. then i would put it onto a white background and clean some lines up i guess.
after that i would go about trying to colour using a (brush?) if anyone has links or just some tips on colouring using photoshop they would be much aprecieated.
