Hey I took a class with Mindy at John Watkiss' studio, I thought she was very talented, her style reminds me of his style. Does Mindy know photoshop and illustrator? if so have her contact me, I'm looking to hire someone soon. It's a full time gig. I run an art dept. where we produce tshirt graphics, big business not a small company. We do Jrs. and Men's Tshirts. Maybe not what she's looking for?, but I'm throwing it out there anyway. Here's my email.

This is really amazing. Very strong lines and movements make her work very expressive. I really liked the design for the character in the first picture.

i love these pieces! Im a big fan of the first one, it grabbed me by the neck and said "like me or else" so i am. and the face on the older moira is also really ful off feeling, she looks sort of embittered and tired which is completely different than the younger moira pics....

a unique look and feel,....i appluad you....or her as the case may be ;)

i'll put my name on the list of people who wants to see this girl posting here at CA.

with the recent influx of newbie crap art, finding this body of work calmed the pumping vein in my forehead. Thankee!!!

I'm with Amish' here...

Sorry. got cut off...

Anybody that can produce those evil little toady dancers, the Moira character and those storyboards can have my damn table and tools any time they want. And since I'm not an asspatter, Mindy...your weakest piece is that werewolf. The body is great, but the head is just a little too strained (for want of a better word), so it's lost what character it should have had. While it's still a decent piece, it does look a bit overworked and "soft" compared to your other pieces.

If you clowns (including myself) have any brains at all, you'll print some of these out and hang 'em in front of you for a couple days to see what can actually be done with strong design, minimalist line work and clean spare color when you set your mind to it.

i am enthralled! such amazing talent and over a range of subjects. the aspects that pull me in most would be your clothing design sense mixed with your wonderful line and characterization sense.

i love it all and hope to see more soon.

When amazing is put into the title, you have a hell of a lot to live up to. And christ did your friend ever... the costume designs are beautiful, and the scene compositions are set up masterfully. Get her ass over here to register, eh?

Wow. I really liked how you were able to capture a lot of atmosphere in the one comic with the girl in the hippie room. Just the lighting and the perspective everything was on. You on your way man. Looks like a darkhorse production.

I'll go along with the crowd and ask this girl to start posting herself. I've always had a soft spot for this stylized kind of work and she's really pulling it off beautiful. Some Wendling inspiration there perhaps?

A lot of the designs are pretty nifty. Some towards the beginning strike me as silly, but you could have been going for silly. Biggest crit would have to be on the faces. Not all the faces. Many are really excellent (such as the girls face on the first page of storyboards). But on some faces, it seems like all the features are falling apart. Also, on the pages where you draw the same character multiple times (specifically the little turn around on the Older Moira page and the storyboards) the characters faces are very inconsistant. But that stuff aside you've got great work.

Early pics are lacking in solid form. Loved the marker one, in fact I was doing some marker drawing tonight and I can say right away this will influence what I do. :)

I really really love the animation style u have going on. Great work, this looks like it could all be part of a good portfolio. Needs more BGs to really round it out. PErhaps some more dynamic poses.

i am loving this style. I have to agree that some of the early work is lacking form and the anatomy is questionable, but once you get down to that werewolf you really show how much you know and that is awesome. I can't wait to see more.
