I like the image. I don't have much in the way of critiques, though you could possibly add more definition to the musculature in the torso. especially in the rib and lower abdomen area. You could also add some more adornments. He looks a little flat, and possible some trinkets, tattoos or other items would spice him up a bit. However being a "grunt" I'd not make him look to ostentatious.

I like your style. It appears you painted a black silo then defined the shapes with color areas (similar to the way Mike Mignola works), is that correct?

Wow, this one looks incredibly similar to this one (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=58663).

When you post more than once, it leads to folks saying the same thing (wasting time), and sometimes keeps folks from seeing all the comments (less learning for all). That's not good.

It's also better for a lot of folks when images are no larger than 800x600 in order to see the whole thing without scolling.

The back leg has an odd white light source from the ground while the front leg (at the same angle) does not.
Would have liked to se a back ground--otherwise I like the concept and feel of the renduring texture.

some of the edges look too cut out.
i would soften some of them,
especially the edges of rounded forms.
it will make it look more real.

Thanks guys
DSillustration: yeah , the rough cut on the edge will be smoothed out, it isnt finished ( the mace/knife fingers are'nt done either )

Dogfood: I only posted it twice because i wasnt getting any feedback and thought i would improve better if i posted it here.

Crow: After im done my outline of my character i use a 100% black opacity background and "erase" in my lighting.

And for the size:

Great design! love the face! good colors too.
Crits: Is too dark, would look better if you do more details over the black areas using dark green.
Also it take me a little to see the thumb on his right hand, its a bit confusing.

And post more!! you should have other intrasting pieces to share.
