I am new to the forum but been checking for years the most inspirational work on the internet here :^^: .
Image done for a forum challenge its done with 3dsmax and zbrush, c&c&questions welcome but is finished already :^^;:
History ? The evolved frog went for a walk saw his ancestral and eated it?:P hope it taste good :x

Damn! this looks dope! :S :P shiiit! realy dig this style. Like the mans hand man! did u textured it all in zbrush? or also unmapped this stuff? I'm pretty new to 3D, i work in maya, and sometimes in zbrush, but a always bump against texturing, making my model alive :S
If i see this i think, damn when we goanna learn stuff like this on school ;) (doing 3D animation first year hehe)

Jero get you trough the steps :) everything in the image was done this way.
Model a low res in max.
Uv map send to Zbrush
Zbrush detailing and texturing
Back to max apply a normal map and textures
Jumping from all the tweaks bugs and fixes, resuming all.. this are the steps ^^

Hehe thanx man, helps a little i quess, but to come to this kind of result,
i think i have to work a whole lot more years on my 3D i think hehe.
But thanx to explain. Maybe a tuttorial would be great ;) lolz

Hey Reptor, kool to see your work here.... looking good I like the colours.
I guess you put "SSS" on the characters.... It's a kool change from the robotic type armor metal stuff.

Jeroart i was thinking about making a tut on that but i am so lazy :P if some more people ask and i get some time maybe i ll do one :teeth:, yep i am really lazy :P but whenever i can help just ask :)

Model's are fantastic, the only thing that lets it down for me is the shiny tree, it doesn't look terribly realistic.
