Inferno its awesome, get it, and while youre at it, try "Brushfire" Illuminations from the inferno" which has bigger reproctutions.
I dont know how good are "Expetion" and "the alien life of..." but I dare to presumme its still fantastic work. It all boils down to whatever you might prefer at the moment, moody horror stuff or donwright alien depictions.:^^:
There is also a discovery channel show based off on "Expection", which is a must seen if you havent! loads of rocking stuff.
And finally, lower in the list of priorities its "The Barlowes guide to fantasy creatures", dont get me wrong, its a good book, but contains major spoilers of the fantasy novels he choose to illustrate and somewhat its more enjoyable if have read throuhg them all, IMHO.

Alien Life of... is great because it has extensive discussion about each piece, background, thought processes, technique, etc.

Goad is Teh Rockzords!! :) I forgot to mention, "Brushfire" features "new" illustrations, in the vein of "inferno", so you wont end up having two versions of the same picture!
Didnt knew that "Alien life" was going into exhaustive detail, thanks Elwell!!!
For extra Barlowes godness (TM), there is also "Hellboy: The art of the movie" where we can see the whole concept process of Sammael.

Aye mate - Glad you got that Schiele book. I have it as well and it's great.
And this way it will remind you of our romantic stroll throught the Schiele Exhibition holding hands.
Goad is great too. You might wanna check out his new book:

It isn't so much him fighting robots and that stuff...I guess this would be considered more "fine-art gallery stuff" than "illustration" - but I really like a good deal of it. If you can only get one, get GOAD.
