This is a great portrait. The eyes and lips look alive. The main problem with it is the size of the back of the head. It doesn't go back far enough. Fix that and you will have an outstanding piece!:chug:

Really big picture, but I like how she looks up(or maybe me :confused: ) Hmm... maybe I could make it as desktop! :D

i believe you have a problem that most people doing portraits have. you don't "sketch" out everything at once.

it appears you just start drawing and shading at the same time.

The top and the right side of her head are not working at all, you cropped it too short, not sure why, maybe it was an honest mistake or you were just bored and wanted to speed things up, but it's a huge visiable mistake.

you got skill though, this is a good piece, without that one large area.

Very nice, you have something going there. I agree with davi though, the biggest problem is the hood she's wearing. It sits too low, looks like the top of her forehead is missing/too small.

Good stuff though, I hope you continue with them.


One minor note of forum etiquette: I've noticed you've been digging up older threads and posting on them. Some were even from last year. Best to let them die, my friend.
