I've posted these elsewhere but since changed them slightly - added texture, played with colours and contrast, etc.
I like the first one as is, but the second is missing something in the way of composition and foreground, midground and background separation. They were done for a ccg.

These are awesome paintings. The second does seem off, it's kinda like you had a lens with a short focal length, thus the guy in the middle seems enlogated(his waist is enormous) and flattened him up. The other problem is there is a whole lot of action, and no reaction. The hero is looking off to the side, and not really looking ready to take this guy on, which is cool, but wouldn't a guy getting it, or scared cause he's about to get it, or bracing to block the first round of blows, or something else be more entertaining? Also his hammer seems kinda just floating there, and the secondary action of that alone would probably take this guy down:p
