Lol cheers, dude. I made a few fast pencil lines on paper, more like stickfigures really and painted it up in PS. Wish i had more time to work on the details.

:D , Fellah! Thank you so much for this! I'm with all those dudes in the back, and you are the one in red sweater! :tihi:.
Strange passion indeed, :). I love how carefully he's stretching his toes, and this devotion on his face, hehe. And this red sweater, he wants an attention, a credit, poor thing :).
OK, One of my favorite piece from you, because it's makes me smile, uncontrollable.
Sveta
P.S. I love the description too :)
P.S.S. Just noticed it's not a sweater, it's a leotard, even better :)

Haha! The funniest pice I've seen from you this far, I like it. Can't wait to see what Mr. Vision will try to shoot it down with. But it will be hard to take such a gracious dancer to the ground.
Btw, nice (scary) avatar Fellah.
Hugs!

HAHAHAHA! That's awesome Fellah. I really like the concept, it makes the piece very exciting and fun. I hope mine measures up. I'm still working on mine in PS since I digi skills aren't all there. I'll prolly have mine up in a bit (sweat beads drippin'). Anyway, thanks for your time. I'll be back in a bit with mine.

Hehe, cheers mr. V (and sve and Penci!!). I had planned a really evil bloody piece, because i know it was you guys expected:wink: but the little dancing fella kept popping up in my mind. Nothing to do about that. Only wish i had more time...(excuses, excuses). Really looking forward to seeing yours, mr V and getting my ass kicked!!

Ok, here's how I saw it. I went back and just decided to keep it monotone. I tried depicting a "Earthen" Master, one who studies for ways to improve his surroundings or simply something to create. Whatever he's up to, you can find The Master in His study, floating around and always doing something. Hope you guys enjoy.

Hello, Mr. Vision, I love what you did with this theme. Beautiful execution and great idea, I knew so close in appearance and in a personality person, met him in my students years. Exactly the same inspired and out of touch with reality face. But very in touch with this persistent thought in his mind.
Both pieces are awesome, in my opinion, I saved them, because they are wonderful! Funny thing, the approaches, styles and genres are very different, but you both see your masters like not normal, better say totally crazy characters. :), interesting :). Do you, guys, want to carry this honorable title? Masters? :D :P
P.S. I love these whimsical loops, mr Vision, through which your master has to go to reach the absolute truth, a very nice allegory.

Dudes! I'm really digging both approaches - and you BOTH surprised me by doing stuff different than you normally do. Fellah..who knew you could be so funny ;) Great to see that humour..it's a really charming piece, especially since we are all familiar with your other work.
Mr.Visions...i love this piece..man...probably one of your best designs..especially in terms of composition.I love monotone pieces as well..and this is done really well.
I don't know if I will vote right away..this is gonna have to sit with me a bit. Bravo to both of you for doing a stand-up job, meeting the deadline, and not acting like 2 crap-talking assheads. :)

Fellah, youve certainly made me a happy little man :D
Mr V, your piece is really solid, tho i feel the contrast could use just a slight nudge upwards to make it really pop. beautiful render nonetheless :)
gosh im hard pressed to choose a winner.. :(

Thaks alot guys for the feedback.
A.J.- Thanks alot. I'm glad you like.
sve - Thanks for the illustrious feedback. Perhaps he's flipping in his yearbook looking you up, remembering when you guys used float rocks after school and play dustball with the tumble weeds. Hahahhahaha. Anyway, thanks. And, yes, maybe one day, I would not like the title, but the abilities of a master.
loomer - thanks alot for the feedback. Always good hearing what you have say.
'stoph - Thanks for the crit. I definately submitted this knowing that it needed darker values. I also feel I need to work mork digitally, so I'm gonna put that on my list of things to do. Thanks again and good hearing from ya.

Hehe. Funny, he was my professor zoology, 35 years older.
Used to look at us, females, his students, during the lecture straight in our eyes and tell something like this: " Tradition to use a lipstick is coming from an animal kingdom."
And then he named some rare species of toads. :) Those toads have an ability to curl they lips out. In this case very bright red inner parts of toad's lips are getting very prominent and they are very attractive to males :). So that was his favorite story for us, girls. :) He was into art also.
Regards, Sveta

Mr. Visions - my man! I totally love this piece! Strong char and rock on comb with alot of original details. Very beautiful. I see alot of work in the drawing! Your approach is my favorit way of working; a kickass drawing with some monotone touch up in PS is dear to my heart and it feels good to get my ass kicked like this, but had i know we could keep the pencil visible i would have done it slightly differently. For me PS means a more painted look, but of course thats just me.
Hard work that turned out really cool and beautiful for you, my friend! IMO Mr. V should be the winner, but im glad you dudes thought mine was funny:)

Damn nice. My first thought when I saw Mr. Vision's piece was Mentler :teeth:
I can't make up my mind for which on to vote. I'll be back later.
Thanks to you both, this is one of the things what makes CA. :yayca:

Fellah - Thank you very much. I apologize that the specifications on the final product were taken differently by both of us. I wanted to keep it open to what you wanted to do digitally because I saw your most recent PS posts (which are amazing) and I saw you stuff in the pasts, so I thought "digital finish" kept it broad enough. I first saw yours and I thought, "oh, crap!" and tried developing my piece in a more painterly way, but then I came to realization that monotone was how I saw my piece when I drew it, so I kept it that way. You're idea was a killer one and I was sure that my butt would have footprints on it by now for that alone. I also like how you incorporated characters that look very similar to ones you've used before, so I felt like I knew them. I feel your piece is very exciting and well done. Thanks for the run, again, it's been fun and I'm glad we got to do something like this together. You get my vote.
Pencilator - Thanks alot. I'm glad we cooud get a good dome going here,
sve - that's hilarious. He always was a sucker for the toads.

Hi man, no problem at all. Hope it didnt come out wrong! I was just jealous because i love to work that way, hehe - and i do it fast:rendered: My idea was to take my "normal" chars and turn them goofy - i had alot of fun doing it! it was a nice change from the usual evil look they have. Something i needed to do - but im back at all the evil stuff again:}Remind me never to do humour again, hehe. It was a good challenge, mate and im glad you get so many votes - you deserve it indeed! Most likely one of the best you have done and i like it very much! I see some good stuff happing for you!

Fellah, out of all seriousness, please never rule out the humerous approach. I am in love with your concept, and the fact that your characters are pretty well known on CA, it's exciting and fresh for us who are followers of your work to see them thrown in obscure settings. Keep it up, I wanna see more. You got something cool and unique there that I wouldn't throw away. Can't wait to see more.

Guys: Awesome. I have to say both pieces are amazing. I love the humor of Fella's work, and the solid concept of Mr.V's... HARD DECISION. Keep up the humor work atleast as a hobby Fella.
