Thank you all for the good wishes. I'll try not to drop moldy body parts as I come and go posting my pitiful shit...

Progress report on my new equipment...It's up and running, and it's a few hours away from being linked finally to my old SCSI machine so I can use my scanners. Big problem is still a modem. I've been waiting eight weeks. They claim it'll be here between the 6th and 15th this month...my ass. Until I get the modem, I can't activate some of the software because it's all special upgrades.

All I need now is about 6 or 7 hours to teach myself Painter and get familiar with the Adobe upgrades...
