Greetings.
Im not that good nor dedicated. And I feels like some of you people hate me (paranoid). But since I got a wacom, its makes me easier to sketch without using paper and to scan all that stuff.
Im still studying, but in engineering course. However I still want to improve myself in drawings. Its been my hobby since I can remember.
So people, be nice and give c&c if its worth it.
I'll start it up with this:

Your sketch is pretty crisp and all but is your index finger really that much smaller than your tumb? Proportions are a pain.

Yes, I do notice that.
However, I use my own fingers for reference. And I kept thinking whats wrong with my sketch. My index finger is longer than in the sketching FYI. But all I did is drawing by the eye.
Or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

I do it all the time. its too common of a mistake. For drawings that require proportional accuracy its better to use the geometric shapes method and roughly sketch out every segment and then go in with fine line and detail. Because when you just start drawing with lines just as you see it, its really almost impossible to get it right.

I see, thanks for the advice. I will implement it in my future sketchings and artworks. :)

Another sketch without reference. I did implement the geometric shapes but forgot to do it with the thumbs.

If you are serious about getting better in drawing, search around the net for "Andrew Loomis" drawing books (ok, i'll post the site www.fineart.sk ). You can get better by drawing everyday (but it's tough if you have school, etc). However, you'll have to learn the theory behind it someday. Andrew Loomis book is a great start.
