heya, first of all i have to say how impressed i am by the works shown on this board. very inspirational stuff.
hopefully i will be able to catch up with that level one day :)
i can't find the time to participate in the daily sketch group as often as i would like to, so i thought i'd introduce myself with the most recent thing i've done.

it's a background for a point-and-click adventure some friends and me are working on. actuaqlly it won't be used in the game, but as the website. we're planning on making the site like a game, where you have to solve puzzles to access the content.

...thanks in advance for taking a look and giving me some comments and crits =)

very cool, i can picture a clown busting into the room and turning on the faucets and throwing around toilet paper.

I'm a huge fan of the *Idea* of these kind of games...I have yet to find one that was realllly satisfying to play...but best of luck! It's a very difficult form of game design - LOTS or artwork involved...You must have played "Runaway-A Road Adventure"? if not, find it for sure...great version of this kind of thing...

sorry for the late reply, i've been away for a few days.

mtw, getata: thank you.

davi: there will be even weirder things happening in that room =)

marc_taro: you're right about the difficulties - there are lots of game-design and story-problems to be solved, but i'm pretty sure we'll be able to handle that.
i have played runaway, but not for very long. somehow i didn't enjoy it that much. we're going to keep the game more like the classical ones - lucas arts and sierra. i'm sure many of you could name dozens of excellent games from back then :)

kaycustomz: you will get that answered very soon.

payback: thank you.

- thanks for the replies everyone, this is a great motivation. i'm going to make an update of this thread as soon as the page is goes online.
