View Full Version : Pressure problem?

First of all, I really didn’t know where to post this and I thought this would be the most suited place.

So I got my first tablet on Monday and have been playing about. Its not a Wacom ( :^^;: ). It’s a Trust TB-3100 (Tablet 400-V2) (http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=12579) I picked it up in a sale at Staples for 30 pound reduced from 70 pound which I think is pretty good... I hope.

I noticed in another thread that someone said with a Wacom they just have to use the amount of pressure they push down on the pen for the opacity to change (push down harder a higher opacity stroke, light pressure on the pen is a less opacity stroke). I cannot do this (I think). I put pressure on my pen when drawing and the line becomes thicker with more pressure or thinner with not so much pressure onto the pen, nothing to do with the opacity I have to change it manually. Which, doing manually, I don’t have a problem it would just be silly if I am not using a helpful feature on my tablet.

So is there anything I need to setup on Photoshop 7 for this? or is it my tablet isn’t very good? Or is their something I am missing completely?

Thanks, and sorry I am very new to digital painting.

Peace, jonton :S
