Another background never really painted snowy/icy scenes so this is my first real full try...this was a quickie one..well for me it was fast..about 5 hours....including fixes the instructor suggested.

adjectives were cold, deep and i think dark...

honestly most of us come up with the adjectives before class or during class crits....we just wanna paint something cool..What we were Supposed to do was think of these adjectives and construct an image AFTER coming up with the adjectives.
But after the first assignment and actually trying it we just started getting lazy/bored/ or caught up with other work. But it is a good excercise helps with focusing your work or at least ur thinking.

giang my adjectives for this painting are dark and silent. nice work i think you really pulled off the indication of ice and snow.

Giang, this is good stuff. I like this piece a lot. It fires my imagination and I think that's what we're all after, eh? Good job.
