Hi Burton that's one weird bug! interesting.

the nerve pattern that grows from the face is a nice detail.
I find it a bit difficult to tell what it/he/she? is carring in the hole on the back, to me it looks like somekind of energy source.

I'm not sure what it is either. I was thinking just this moody fluoro light thing. Functionally I have no idea. Do you think it is bad if it is ambiguous like that?
